Hi -
Succinctly HP's DDM or IBM's TADDM for IT auto discovery and App mapping.
That's what my company is trying to decide (and then buy).
Which is the better product & why?
Ease of Implementation: Which is harder to install/implement & why.

Appreciate any advice and counel

There's a fourth way - doing it all together ;)

I've got a customer with ITM5 and TBSM3 who's upgrading/replacing with TADDM/ITM6/TBSM.

We installed TADDM and ITM6 simultaneously, configured each of them independently and are now integrating them into TBSM

Thanks Barron for your comments. I agree with you.
I think the best option will be to go ITM -> TADDM -> TBSM route. This will be very helpful on a long run and will save lot of effort if customer gets TADDM after they have done building there TBSM.

Hi,
Sorry for resurrecting this, but I've only just found this.

Actually, as a customer, I'd first be asking whether I even need this Solution.

What are the benefits of using TBSM simply over building logical/graphical views in ITM?

I'd say that unless you are really working TBSM or integrating TADDM/CMDB, then you might as well invest your efforts in ITM than TBSM.
